Adopt a Street Roadside Cleanup – Carpenter Road between Pacific Ave and RooLan retirement community. Usually once every quarter or as needed. POC: John Christiansen

All Kids Win (formerly Homeless Backpack Program) We supply an assortment of needed items. Occasionally, we help sort foood and necessities. Located in the Columbia Bank building, Lacey. POC: Berta Fender

Boy & Girl Scouts of America Troops 222. We have a long history of support for this group. They help at our golf tournament. POC: Pat

CARE (aka: Cooperative for American Remittances to Europe) has been around since 1945. MD-19 joined with CARE in 1958 to support various projects, and Sunrise donates to that effort.

Christmas Families Jerry’s Kids Jerry’s Kids is in our annual budget. POC: Jan Goebel

Christmas Families Lacey Fire District 3 meals and toys for families in need. Sunrise buys and wraps gifts for families. POC: Kevin Davenport and Kathy Cross Reece

Lacey Eyeglass Recycling Center (LERC) Give the gift of vision by donating your old eyeglasses. LERC ADDRESS: 9013 Mullen Rd SE, Olympia, WA 98513 DROP OFF LOCATIONS

First Responders Day September 11th. In conjunction with Midday Lions and Lacey Lamplighters, we deliver a sheet cake and Governor’s Proclamation to the Lacey City Police, County Sheriff’s Office, and Lacey Fire District 3. POC: Dave Noble

Flags Over Lacey We put up 650 American flags all over Lacey from May 1 through 5 July, then the first two weeks of September. POC: Pat Bucknell

Foodbank — Sorting Thurston County Foodbank Warehouse on Mottman. During the COVID19 pandemic, we give money and volunteer, separating food from bulk into smaller packages. POC: Lyell Clark

Lacey Brunch with Santa POC: Frankie Sokso

Lacey Fun Fair The City of Lacey holds spring and fall fun fairs for families and kids. We do a game (and possibly face painting) and talk about Sunrise Lions with people. POC: Kathy and Frankie

Scholarships for Students The scholarship committee sends four scholarship applications to North Thurston High School. Funds for this raised through our annual charity golf tournament. POC: Nina Davenport and Jan Goebel

Wheelchair Ramps People who need a ramp contact the club to have one installed. Includes the SeniorsSafe@Home program where Lacey Fire District 3 identifies seniors who need handrails to prevent falls, then we install. POC: Kevin Davenport, John Colvin and Pat Bucknell

Apple Sales in the fall–October time frame. Fresh-picked apples are purchased from orchards in eastern WA and sold here. POC: Frankie Sokso and Mike Ragan

Appleby’s Breakfast end of May time period. POC: John Christiansen

Coffee Sales Twice a year in June and November, we sell coffee from Olympic Coffee Roasters to raise money for our many projects. POC: Peggy Rogers

Golf Tournament every May we hold the Annual Lacey Sunrise Lions Charity Golf Tournament–our main fundraiser. See Events webpage for date and flyers. POC: Joel Graves

Rest Stop Coffee and cookies on southbound Interstate 5 at Maytown–Mile Post 93. Volunteers work around the clock for two or three days. POC: Jim Perrou
